Support

A little help, when you need it.

Plan a one-off task or recurring habit, choose any reward apps, and work toward the item's completion target. Habits track their own streaks. The answers below explain permissions, progress and common issues.

Common questions

Why does Mavioa ask for Screen Time permission?

Permission lets Mavioa use Apple's Screen Time tools to restrict the reward apps you choose while their work requirements are pending. You can plan and complete tasks without granting this permission.

Can Mavioa see which apps I selected?

Apple's picker represents your choices with opaque application tokens. Mavioa stores these tokens to apply your choices; the current app does not derive selected app names, bundle identifiers or domains from them.

What happens if I remove permission?

Mavioa can no longer enforce its app restrictions. Your tasks and history remain, and you can still complete work. Opening Mavioa alone does not necessarily ask for permission again.

How do I authorize and select reward apps again?

Open a task or habit's reward-app settings and use the permission check or selection action. If permission is denied, enable it in iOS Settings, then return and try again. After reauthorization, choose the apps afresh; old selections do not automatically reactivate.

Why is an app still restricted after one completion?

A habit may need more than one completion to meet its daily target. If the same reward app is linked to several tasks or habits, all applicable requirements must be satisfied. One completion does not clear the others.

Does Mavioa upload my tasks?

The current app stores planning and history locally and has no Mavioa backend that automatically receives them. It does not use CloudKit sync. Normal iOS/device backups may apply; information you email to support is handled separately.

How do reminders work?

Mavioa schedules local notifications on your device. Check the item's reminder and Mavioa's notification permission in iOS Settings. Focus modes and notification settings can affect presentation. Titles may appear on the Lock Screen, depending on your settings.

How can I contact support?

Email teomanakman5@gmail.com for help or privacy questions. Include the app version, iOS version and steps that led to the issue. Leave out passwords, reward-selection tokens and sensitive personal information.

App compatibility

Mavioa is an iPhone app requiring iOS 17.0 or later. Reward-app restrictions require Apple's Screen Time permission. App Store availability is not yet linked from this website.

When something needs attention

Completion and reward access

Meet the task's completion requirement or the habit's daily target, including its required repetitions. For timed work, follow the completion confirmation shown in the app. A finished timer alone is not proof that a restriction has been removed. When the same app is linked to several items, check every applicable requirement.

Undoing a completion

If you undo today's completion, the item can become pending again. With permission and a valid reward selection, its connected apps can become restricted again. Undo is not a way to retain an earned reward while removing the work that earned it.

Permission or app selection needs attention

Open the relevant task or habit editor and check its reward-app settings. Use the permission check or selection action there. If iOS denies permission, check Screen Time settings before trying again. When asked to renew a selection, choose the apps again and save. Previously selected apps are not automatically restored after permission loss; your tasks and history remain.

A reminder did not appear

Check that the item has a reminder, then review Mavioa's notification permission, alert and preview settings in iOS Settings. Check any active Focus mode too. Reminders are local notifications; delivery and Lock Screen presentation depend on iOS settings. Avoid sensitive task titles if notification previews are visible to others.

An unexpected restriction or an app error

Check today's targets, other items linked to the same app, permission and any request for a fresh selection. Return to Mavioa to review its current message. If the issue continues, contact support with the non-sensitive error wording and steps to reproduce it. Do not delete the app or reset its data as a first troubleshooting step: this can remove locally stored plans and history.
